Pakistan · Clean water

JACOB’SWELLS

In many villages around the kilns, families drink from an open pond. The water is uncovered and dirty. They use the same water to drink and to make the bricks. There is no well and no pump.

About 21 to 23.4 million people in Pakistan still do not have clean drinking water close to home, according to reports from organizations like UNICEF.

$285 digs a well and places a hand pump, so hundreds of homes have clean water.
