Free a familySlavery did not end. There are MORE slaves today than ANYTIME in history. At 20,000 brick kilns across Pakistan, millions are trapped in slavery. When faced with life or death, families borrow from the kiln owner for medical treatment and medicine. Their wages will never catch the interest. For generations the debt is passed down to their children, and they are not allowed to leave. Between 3 and 4.5 million people are held this way. It is called bonded slavery.
We pay off the family’s entire debt with the brick-kiln owner, and line up housing, food, and a new job where they keep all the money they earn. We document the whole process on video and receive signed papers from the owner, so their freedom is on record.

About 21 to 23.4 million people in Pakistan still do not have clean drinking water close to home, according to reports from organizations like UNICEF.
Most of the families we serve cannot read. 35 audio Bibles remain on this year’s aim.
